The Black Teacher Project (2020) compares teachers to DJs, emphasizing their role in energizing and engaging students through authentic conversations and culturally responsive pedagogy, ultimately redefining teachers as facilitators of collaborative and creative learning environments that validate students' identities and foster a sense of belonging.
