As a holistic advocate of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Decolonization, and Accessibility (EDIDA), embracing makerspaces in learning environments can be transformative. Makerspaces embody experiential learning, creativity, and hands-on engagement—qualities that foster inclusivity and cater to diverse learning needs. They offer students from various backgrounds an equitable platform to express themselves, collaborate, and learn from one another in ways that traditional classroom settings may not allow.
